How do you decide your rapid-acting insulin dose for an injection?

We polled our community of followers and summarized your responses in this infographic!

For rapid-acting dose decisions, there were 35 responses. We heard as many people say they use HCP instructions as guesstimate—11%. We heard the same number of people use a bolus calculator (most indicated this was on a pump) as use some sort of sliding scale or simple-to-remember mathematical rule (most of these were injection users)—22%. The smallest number of people indicated a fixed dose at 4%, while the largest mentioned counting carbs at 30%.
